hike in les baux
Hiked the hills of les baux today it was a little stormy but still warm ... Perfect hiking weather. Climbed the trail that runs from les baux to maussane then walked through and over the hills to fontveille.
villaneuve les avignon
Visited the hotel le Prieure here. While in the town (10 min from Avignon centre ville) I walked the contra canal gardens along the Rhone and visited the tour and chateau.

abbaye de montmajour
Visited the ancient abbey down the road from fontveille. It was once the site that held the true cross (think crusades) in France. Really heavy feeling to the place, but an interesting visit.

Arrived to rain in Oustau, still beautiful though. Sun arrived on day three and is still here weeks later :)

Visited the religious center of the Russian orthodox church today. Was very pretty, about 2 hours outside Moscow.
love trees, moscow
In Moscow, like other European cities they do the lover lock bridges, but in Moscow there are lock trees in the shape of heart that are in the middle of these bridges.

moscow, day 1
Today we did a walking city tour of Moscow including Swan Lake, where there were the make way for duckling ducks, the metro, and red square where we saw the changing of the guard, great day. 
Uglich
Visit in the town of Uglich this morning on the way to Moscow. Tour included visit to the church and a home visit.
